Since Subaru announced the redesign of the Impreza in 2008, there has been a lot of speculation on the web as to what the next generation of Impreza will look like.
Some news sites, such as MobileMag and LeftLaneNews, have announced the Impreza 2008 to be a hatchback based on the B5-TPH hybrid prototype.
According to Subaru, however, the redesign of the Subaru Impreza is NOT based on the B5-TPH prototype. There is nothing yet to discredit the hatchback rumor though.

Well, after reading this site in it’s entitety, i hope for 2008 i get a sedan with a nice size spoiler… i’ve been waiting since 2006 for the 2008 model… (coudlnt afford one back then and I still prefer the 05 model versus the 06/07), but if it’s a hatch… i dunno… it might just end up looking like a Peugeout, Citroen, or the new Civc :)
If it’s another bugly desgin, I might just hunt down a decent condition 05. (in White… with Dark Yellow Rims)
