The super-quick Mitsubishi Lancer Evo only comes with a manual change and Subaru has also just dropped the automatic from its WRX family.
The last of the self-shifter Subarus has just hit the road as the company drives deep into its 2006 model year, a change which also included a new price fighter Liberty and will also see the introduction of its full-sized four-wheel drive wagon.
“Take-up on the automatic was less than five per cent,” the managing director of Subaru Australia, Nick Senior, says.
